Itinerary description
Circular route starting from Plan and ascending steeply to Ibon de Plan. Then ascent to pass to east of lake and return to Plan. Spectacular walk with stunning views and scenery. About 4,200ft of total ascent, all in the first 7 miles. The track after the pass can be slightly tricky to find - not well marked in places. Basically descend and then traverse to the north. Eventually you'll hit the dirt track at the top of the pass (by the rain gauge) that heads down to Plan. There are a good many short cuts off the track to cut out the hairpin bends.
