Itinerary description
A beautiful but sometimes strenuous walk. Superb views on the Canigou ridge and on the way back on the foothills towards the coast.

On 07 April 2016, the stream crossing (El Bolès) had been washed away. But it was still possible to wade across without much difficulty. However, this would not be possible after heavy rain.
Just 8 years after (July 26th, 2023) we did this same track. The southern way to La Bastide is too steep (downwards and upwards).
The stream crossing is in good health. We were able to cross without much troubles (we are in drought thou).
