- Mirador de Playa Larga (6.7 km)
This is one of the walks to be found in the Calblanque, a Regional Park on the coast of Murcia near La Manga (Mar Menor). It is a beautifully preserved area with coves, cliffs, sand areas, dunes, and salt flats.
This walk starts from the parking place of the Centro Visitantes Cobaticas but you could also start at the parking place closer to the sea "El Atochar".
For a few kilometres this walk is along a very quiet road also used by bikers adn will give you views of La Manga during the first part.
From the fountain the track turns towards the coast and once you see a last building the track narrows down to a single file track that goes up and down towards the sea giving you nice views of the Cabezo de la Fuente towering above you and the beautiful and impressive coastline.
The stretch along the coast is particularly fascinating, especially if you walk it following the track in this direction with the sun behind you.
