Itinerary description
A circular route starting and ending in the Área recreativa El Pinarillo. The walk up to El Cielo offers some spectacular views along the coast and across to Morocco on clear days. The route is easy to follow. The last couple of kilometres are steep. Very steep.
This is a circular route coming back down a different way. After the summit, you go back down the way you came and quickly veer off to the right. The path is clearly marked. Look for hitos (rock markers) if disorientated. The final path down steep and fairly loose underfoot. Poles are advisable.

Easy to follow
Scenery
Moderate
Cela faisait très longtemps que nous n'avions pas pratiqué la randonnée, donc cela a été assez difficile pour nous. Nous avons mis six heures et demie en comptant les pauses. La montée a été correcte, mais la descente abrupte. Le paysage est magnifique et l'arrivée au sommet avec un panorama sublime récompense les efforts.
