Circular Taganana ⭐⭐

De witte kleur van de huisjes contrasteert met het intense groen van de bergen. De huizen van het gehucht Taganana liggen verspreid over enkele heuvels. Het dorpje is omgeven door ongerepte stranden en ruwe rotsen. Het dorp heeft de traditionele gewoontes en bouwstijl van het eiland behouden. Het is een eindje rijden vanuit het zuiden naar hier, maar de rit is ook meer dan de moeite.
Op onze wandeling rond het dorpje zitten een paar stevige kuitenbijters! We trekken eerst omhoog tot aan het uitkijkpunt van El Chorro, waar e een mooi zicht hebben op het dorp en Roque de las Animas, de hoge platte rots, die gans de wandeling domineert. We dalen dan verder af naar Tachero, het piepkleine gehuchtje met de gelijknamig playa. Je waant je hier aan het eind van de wereld! Er volgt nog een klim door de barrranco terug naar het kleine centrum van Taganana waar een verfrissing meer dan welkom is!

The village is surrounded by pristine beaches and rough rocks. The village has kept the traditional customs and architecture of the island. It's a short drive from the south to here, but the drive is also more than worth it.
On our walk around the village there are a few sturdy calf-biters!
