Itinerary description

A short hike to the shoulder of Karltinden Mountain. From here, good views might be had towards the Lyngen Alpen.

The trail starts at the northernmost golf club on earth, though it is possible to continue for a few hundred meters on a dirt road by car. A signboard appears pointing at the direction of Nakkenden. This trail can then be followed to a nice viewpoint - which can be obstructed by some high voltage lines. Continue a few steps further on, and you have better views, without the power lines.

Along the way you may find cloudberries. Non-residents can eat them on the spot, but it is not allowed to collect them and carry them away.

Nice and easy trail with beautiful view at the top on the lyngen Alps and the sea shore. Beginning of the trail is easy to follow but be careful : there's an intersection on the right just before the electric pole that's not well marked. (It's a narrow path leading up toward the summit)
