Itinerary description
Easy hike, apart from some very stoney bits. I walked after three days of continuous rain and it was dry apart from some puddles and a small river flowing down the spectacular approach to Manzanares. Here the sierra de Madrid looms ahead, full of giant rocks. This is another part of the Camino de Santiago from Madrid and is very well sign-posted with the yellow arrows. There is a regular bus service back to Colmenar Viejo from Manzanares.
