Itinerary description
Very straightforward hike. Follow yellow dots painted on rock.
Make a choice of ascent or do the loop.
Route up before lake has some simple scrambling and a wide ridge but awesome views. You will need hands at some point but not a lot.
Route after lake (our return) has zero scrambling, very easy and nontechnical ability required, but you spend more time in the valley with a little more restricted views.
This was a summer ascent and so weather was great and no snow.
Started early with head torches (0520) and parked in the free car park at the ski hotels before the tunnel. The car park the other side of the tunnel has a €20 charge for the day.
