Itinerary description
The walk starts at the top of Compéta and near the top of Las Colmenillas and you turn right just past Casa Mimosa. You walk uphill on Tracks and paths past the hill which houses the cabin for the Junta. A lookout for fires in Summer. You then turn onto the silk road which is an old Muleteers trail. You pass a broken down Venta Pradillos which is a good place for a break with lovely views. After the Venta you pass a derelict Casa after which you turn right coming down onto a wide track back to Casa de la Mina and shortly after you turn right up a steep path where you then retrace your steps back down.
