Itinerary description
This is the return half of the walk from Competa football ground to the three ventas. We did this walk as a linear there and back walk but it can be made a circular walk, e.g by continuing to Puerto Blanquillo. Or could be a one way route to Acebuchal.
There is a steep climb of about 350m immediately from the football field, with views over Competa. Once on the ridge, there are good views towards Nerja & Torrox. Mostly following the ridge brings you to the three ventas as shown. Along the way there are several crests to ascend as options (not on route shown). One of these has a fire watch station.
