Itinerary description
The trail starting at Silvermine nature reserve heading up to elephants Eye Cave and then up to the summit of the Constantiaberg, the route down descends steeply with great views over hout bay and Chapmans Peak drive. The path then rejoins the noordhoek bench path and finally the jeep track before heading back to the Silvermine dam. The trail is easy but the signage disappears on the Constantiaberg summit the alternative way down can take some searching to find. Relatively easy to moderate day out with no exposed cliffs or ledges. The route to the cave is popular with families and children+dogs so it can get busy. Take note of an entrance fee or wildcard requirement when entering the reserve
