Itinerary description
Drive the beautiful N-340 through the Cerro Gordo park to the parking lot at the roundabout (near the roadside restaurant). Easy hike down the path rather than down the paved road. Much prettier. Saw a herd of wild goats on the way. At the end be rewarded by a delicious meal or just a refreshing bevie at El Paraiso, the lovely beachside restaurant at the bottom of the hill. Beach is deserted in off season. Great way to spend an afternoon. Lots of hikes can be added from the beach.
