Itinerary description
Real trekking classic in Macizo de Penalara; departs from Cotos where you can get a couple "bocadillos" at the Bar near the parking lot then easy walk for a while gets steep then bit more and quite soon, say 1 hour give or take, you d be in front of Laguna Grande... this track then goes back and takes the trail to see the other lakes system and ends up in Laguna de los Pajaros, that bit adds another 1.5 hrs, so in total it is now about 3 hours, plus stops etc and then all the way back something like 5 to 6 hours, taking it totally easy.
The first bit to Laguna Grande totally ok for kids, the second bit would depend. There is quite a lot of rocks to walk on. All easy. No difficult steps.
