Itinerary description
Although it is uphill to the refugio it is pretty easy-going. The track is well defined and the views make it a very pleasant hike.
Right at the top near the refugio I left the defined trail and did a short rock scramble to the refugio. The defined trail actually goes past it then doubles back to the refugio. If it were not for that rock scramble I did I would rate the hike as easy, not moderate.
