Itinerary description
Lovely walk to Puente Valerosa exploring both sides of the river. Starting from the campsite crossing the swingbridge towards Puente Arenillas. There cross the river again and turn left towards Puente Valerosa. This is an easy going path.
From Puente Valerosa we turned back the same way for a short while, then crossing the river and turning left towards Puente Arenillas again. This is a small path somewhat more challenging untill it ends on a gravel path. At the signpost Los Apretaderos take the little path down. From Los Apretaderos follow the small path towards Puente Arenillas. This small path can be quite muddy and is not in the best condition but ok to walk. At Puente Arenillas you can choose on which side of the river you want to walk back to the campsite. We luckily chose the left side, on the other side was now a flock of sheep with large watchdogs to keep them safe. We put our dogs on the lead and kept as far away from them as possible. They didn't bother us.
There can also be horses and cows in this area.
