Cruz de Jorox via Nacimiento

This walk goes to the Nacimiento de Jorox which is where the river starts. You will see old irrigation canals in places. There is one section before you get to the viaduct of the main road where you have to climb over a rock which is doable. Cross over to the other side of the stream to pick up the path on the hill.

Then pick up the concrete track and follow this uphill path which eventually brings you to the cross of Jorox, with nice views of Jorox and the countryside.
This is a very good spot for a break or picnic.
The return journey goes through more of the hamlet and arrives at the hermitage Vera Cruz, before making your way back to the car park,
passing a bridge over the river and a small gorge.

There is also plenty time to incorporate the Cascada de Jorox walk while you are in the area.
