Itinerary description
Trevenque
Nick-named: El rey de la media montaña de Sierra Nevada (king of the mid-mountains of the Sierra Nevada)
Elevation: 2.079 m.a.s.l.
Ecosystem: mid-level mountain
The Trevenque is a dolomitic peak in the Sierra Nevada mid-mountain range, known for the exceptional views from its summit, but also for being a tough climb due to the rugged and steep final ascent.
Skipping the summit (which we did here), its a relatively easy walk, but not without some tricky parts that require caution. Thus, the difficulty of the hike is classified as 'moderate'.
