Itinerary description
Castellano (English below):

This itinerary is part of an excursion of more than 60 people where there were children and older people.
Indispensable for the cave of the French: BOOK. You can bring coats or not, but if you don't book, the most logical thing is that there are no tickets since there is a maximum of 25 people per shift. Admission is 3 euros per person and 2 if they are groups. Free below 7 years.
The tour starts from the parking lot of the caves (free) and heads towards the top of Ahedo. The trail is signposted and easy to follow. Once at the top you can follow a path to the viewpoint or cross the beech forest below to the well of the wolves. The path that we followed was this second one and the only thing that can present some type of problem are some stairs that are at the beginning to save the gap. It doesn't have much, but for the less common it can be a little more effort.
Once past that section, everything will continue through the forest to the well, where there will be great views of the entire Palencia mountain. From there you can make a path to the menhir, but as it is not signposted we prefer to go to the viewpoint and go back to the menhir. Mind you, this will make the walk a bit longer.

The route seems long because we stopped to do the guided tour of the cave, which takes just over an hour. Once outside, we continue towards Revilla de Pomar. Here there is also good signage and the path is downhill almost all the time except for the last few meters before reaching the town. Of course, the arrival is made right in front of a bar, so there is no loss.
It is important to bring water since the area has a lot of sun and there are no sources in the surroundings.
