Itinerary description
I parked in Cardonera, but parking in El Pinillo is closer to the start of the tour - you do have to drive over a dirt road, though.
The tour is an out-and-back, the destination being Cueva del Mediodia. The outward leg is basically all up-hill. You start on trail S73 and then move onto trail SL1, the latter being a long-distance trail.You can see the cave from quite some way away - getting up really close does not help that much. I found it very difficult to get any decent photos of the caves as the sun was peeping over the mountain top; that was about mid-day so maybe later in the day is the time for photos.
The sun was shining and I had a good workout climbing up, but I would not recommend it as a tour, unless you are into rock climbing and want to explore the caves.
