Itinerary description
If you've had enough of shady forest trails, or skating around on loose volcanic gravel paths, this one's for you. Generally firm underfoot, the hike will be in the sun (if it's out) and the views are fabulous. It's also lower than most La Palma hikes so warmer for winter visitors.
The cafe La Finca near the caves is idyllically situated and you can sit in the sun with a light lunch and a beer contemplating how much better this is than going to work. The only downside is that you descend first and climb back to the finish, but the paths are never excessively steep, and hey, you can't have everything!
