Itinerary description

This unofficial trail let you admire the beauty of Lefkara Dam from above, as well you may see a bit of Dipotamos dam and then after descent you may enjoy the proximity of the water and have a break on the dam shores.

TERRAIN: mostly dirt roads with one part of somewhat deserted asphalt road, one not long ascent through the wild terrain and one descent along rather steep fire breaker. The "wild" parts have a lot of loose stones and soil, thus proper shoes and hiking poles are advisable.

SEASON: the trail is mostly exposed to the sun, not suitable for hot seasons.

SIGNS: no signs and no resting places.

KIDS: only part of the trail is suitable for kids of all walkable age (the one which goes along the shore); the whole trail is for 9-10yo minimum

NB: during the hike GPS behaved strange at one moment (not only on my phone I have to admit) and placed us across Mediterranean to Beirut airport for a few minutes, thus making us Supermen with the overall distance and speed. :))

WARNING! the area is very popular with hunters thus be extra vigilant during the hunting season and get dressed brightly
