From the B & B Dalen (recommended, hiker friendly accommodation, the owner speaks German and has lots of tips) leads the way steeply uphill. About the picturesque mountain hut Rui (private, closed, nice picnic area) and several viewpoints, the path leads to another private house.
From there it gets flatter. Partly via paths, partly via paths to Eidsborg. Worth seeing the West Telemark Museum with the stave church. Back as way, except for the last stretch.
Hiking poles and mosquito repellent recommended!
