Itinerary description
We turned a 5 day hike (or a 12 hr trail run) into a 2 1/2 day fast hike. Day 1 covers the first three stages, from the village of Tavascan in Spain to the Pinet refuge in France. We skipped the detour to climb Pic de Certascan and added a loop around the lakes below Pic de Turguilha. It's a long day, nearly 30km and 3000 metres of vertical gain, but covers spectacular ground.
