Itinerary description
We started our 3 day trek at the Karkonoski National Park from Szklarska Poreba. It was a crazy warm weekend and it was perfect for the mountains!
We parked the car on the outskirts of the town and met the blue path up to Schronisko hut and from there followed the green path on the slopes of the mountain range through some nice, small lakes and back up to the ridge until we reached the Odrodzenie hut.
The trails and the steepness of this path is quite gentle and not very complicated. A lot of the trail is rocky so you need some decent boots. Some good views to the north and when you are about to reach the small lakes, you can see the rocky cliffs on the south which are magnificent. Perhaps it would have been nicer to see this part earlier in the day but it was still a beautiful sight!
