Itinerary description
Day 15. A 300km drive day from Ukmerge Lithuania back to Riga in Latvia via a very quirky religious place called ‘The Hill of Crosses.’ A place of Catholic pilgrimage, there are over 100,000 crosses on this hill in rural Lithuania. The hill has come to signify the peaceful endurance of Lithuanian people despite the suffering they have endured over the generations.
