Itinerary description
Debela pec ridge is placed above the Martuljek valley and offers very nice panaormaic views to the Triglav ridge on the other side of the valley (west), to the Karavanke ridge and lake Bled to the north and to the forested Pokljuka (south).
The hike starts at the Sport hotel in Pokljuka and climbs through a forest and two planina to the ridge. 3 summits are visited: Debela Pec, Brda and Lipanski vrh. There is a very short decent section secured with a steel cable between Brda and Lipanski vrh, but nothing too tricky.
