Itinerary description
Extremely difficult hike on very different levels. We used another Wikiloc hike for the basis, but a lot of this route, that is the last part in the direction we did it in, is officially private property and/or very difficult terrain, though possible if you are creative with barb wire and fences. We cut our legs open on the tall grass. The part alongside the sea was over the rocks, slow, difficult and time consuming, though very beautiful. The last 4 km took us 4 hours! The terrain is rough and it's hard to find sometimes, but the views and landscapes are to die for. Learn from our mistakes, which you can obviously see in the route line. If you decide to do this route, be prepared for at least 4 liters of water per person and enough food. You won't encounter many other people, only around Rica do Elefante. Afterwards, we didn't see a soul, so skinny dipping possible. Enjoy!
