Itinerary description

This is one of the most beautiful tours we have hiked in Norway! We started from a parking lot (paid). First, it went a dirt road steeply uphill. Once at the top you have a wonderful view of the surrounding fjord landscape. Here you are already on the edge of the Handangervidda plateau. The Dronningstien leads parallel to the edge of the plateau through the barren, wild, sprawling landscape that is typical of the Hardangervidda. At the same time you can look from the edge again and again dreamlike on the Sorfjord. At the end of Dronningstien you have a view of a waterfall. From there, the monks walk downhill. End of our tour was the campsite in Lofthus.
