Itinerary description

Start along Lovers Leap Road and head through paddock. Look for a large orange triangle on a tree which marks the start of the track. Follow track for around 4-5 hours through the forest until the tree line is reached. Many tree falls need to be negotiated and there is a lot of muddy pools and small creeks to cross. A rock bivuac is accessed to the left of the track by crossing the river. Continue along the valley for another 1.5-2 hours to reach the end of the valley and Gilkeson Falls.
