Itinerary description
This is a long trip around, and partially insides Nachal David (David stream) that can be only done when there is no danger of flooding.
We followed the trail of another hike but missed some of the steps and had to return part of our path. This was after we followed his instructions and turned south(ish) sooner than we should have. After leaving Mt. Ishay one could stay on the dirt road which is now also marked, go around and reach the entrance to the upper part of Nachal David.
We walked downstream in the dry riverbed, but at one point we reach a 4-5 high waterfall (that was of course dry), but we could not climb down.
Next time we might go on the shorter loop following either the red or the green marking.

Last chance to go the shorter route turning left on the green path, joining up with the red path and going around the lower section of Nachal David. We turned to the right going further up to Mt Yishay

The path you can see on the other mountain slightly above the edge of the Wadi is the other side of the green path (that was joined by the red path)

We cam up on the green then went to the peak of Mt Yishay on the white and now leaving on the red. Noth, Noth-West.
Dry riverbed of Nachal David
We are supposed to climb down there. It was a bit scary but we managed. One could go around on the marked path and get an easier access.
Intersection - Nachal David - black path
This is where once could smoothly enter the river-bed and the leave it. We cam upstream here and turned left to the south onto the black path. In the picture to the right you see the downstream of Nachal David and to the left is the northbound part of the black path.
