Itinerary description
A very beautiful walk from El Cacao to Jordanal (behind El Valle de Antón). This walk goes by Peñas Blancas (White Stones), some massive granite walls that shine bright white against the dark green of the forest. It has a steep climb to from Río Cirí to Quebrada Jordanal.
This route starts at El Cacao which can easily be reached by public transportation and ends at Jordanal where you can pay for an inexpensive pick-up ride back to El Valle de Antón. If you are feeling strong you can just hike the next 10km back to El Valle, all mostly up-hill.
