Itinerary description
This section begins inside the Cabécar tribal territory, where few resources are available. For this reason, coordination with a local guide to combine Section 3 and Section 4 is suggested. Otherwise, we wake in the indigenous community and prepare to descend to Río Pacuare. On the far side of the river valley, horse and cattle ranches are a common site. We pass many of them on the way to the town of Tres Equis. Supplies and lodging can be acquired once we reach this community.
