Itinerary description
The first portion of this section passes through rolling hills blanketed with pastures that begin at the summit of the road leading up from Pacayitas. After descending from these hills, the trail continues through villages on the outskirts of La Suiza. This city is one of the largest on the trail, with several convenient shops and businesses to facilitate recovery, resupply, and preparation for the next few sections.
