Itinerary description
21 03 2019
Itinerary: The walk is in Entrerrios, which is in the hills behind
Fuengirola / La Cala.
The walk starts with a steady uphill climb up Cerro del Camorro
for about 20 minutes on a wide but rocky path.
Walk terrain has a good wide path, mainly well graded
but some areas have loose gravel or large stones.
After the initial climb the walk levels off. Occasionally there is a minor up or down section. The views are good to the hills around and behind the drug rehabilitation centre. The wide path winds its way around the mountain and eventually you can see views behind Calahonda and off towards Ojen, and the river Ojen down below on your right.
Continuing on the wide, fairly level path you start to see the coast
over the top of La Cala and then Fuengirola. Eventually arriving at the initial hill we ascended. Then descend back to the cars.

Randonnée très sympa. Belles vues. Les pentes ne sont pas trop fortes.

Nice walk with surprisingly good views.
Funnily enough I was there today and climbed to the summit.
Didn't see anyone on the walk.
Except a car at the start with Belgium
plates?
We tried to climb to the top but didn't make it, but I have seen you have added another route, thanks! Was it easy enough to do with children? ( 7 and 10). We went a few weeks ago. Thanks for your routes by the way, I follow a lot of them, they are really well described with good photos.
Hi Cydpads
I wouldn't recommend this route for your kids. If you take them keep them close to you.
The path up and down has been damaged by the rain. There is a lot of loose rocks in places. Coming down from the summit has a bit of steep descent. Walking poles are advisable.
The views from the top are really good.
When you get to the bottom of El Camorro you can make the route shorter by turning right instead of left.
Good luck
Tony
