Cascajal Circuit, Osunillas, Mijas
This walk starts from the Arenales quarry, taking a path on your left. There is a bit of a climb to get to the Noria path that leads into arroyo de los Pilones. Descend down this path where eventually you will climb up a hidden path, which eventually gets to a small bridge with pipes to cross. Pass the football stadium where eventually you will come out at the Guardia civil barracks.
Just past this there are two small pillars where you turn left and that brings you into the Aleppo woods. Follow the trail. There is an old water irrigation canal which you will see in many places but is totally damaged now. Crossover the road to continue the path which is now hard to find due to lack of use and the pine needles. You will pass a mine before coming out in front of the Arenales quarry. Turn left to get to the car parking area.
It is a peaceful walk with lovely views.
