Itinerary description
I use the route which a section of the GR141 to make a 2 day circular walk by leaving my car in El Colmenar overnight and walking back via one of the other routes the following day.
Whilst virtually all uphill there are only a few tough climbs of short duration.
The route in the lower half is marked at intervals with twin standing stones set about 1.5m apart.
There are cracking views most of the time ending in the best one of Gaucin as you come over the crest behind El Hacho.
