Itinerary description

A very nice circular walk from El Corral de los Juncos to La Culata with amazing views on Roque Nublo, the barranco de Tejeda and the Teide on Tenerife in the distance.

Starting from a zona de Acampada, which is very easy accessible from the northern part of the island. We came here in very foggy circumstances but on the arrival the clouds bursted open and delivered us breathtaking views.

Walking down to the Presa de los Hornos on a easy path to la Degollada de La Goleta. From here it’s almost down all the way. After reaching La Culata we go up again, also very easy and with lovely views all around.

When you reach the GC-150 it’s uphill again to the camperspot.

I have followed this trail  View more

Really Nice Trail but there were some areas that were a bit more complicated than expected, that's why I marked the difficulty as "Moderate" . For example going down to la Culata the path was not so wide and you had to be really careful.
And after leaving the La Culata Town, the hike up was a bit too steep. It is no problem if you are a seasoned hiker, but in any case I would have considered this trail as Moderate instead of easy.
