Itinerary description

Fascinating and interesting round trip, the ascent is very slippery and difficult after rainfall. Take motoconcho (motorcycle taxi) to get to the start and walk back to Jaracaboa (6km) for insights in typical dominican life.

okay views. Very very difficult and muddy. Not a great payoff for such a difficult trip. If you go about 1.5 km in and turn back you get about the same views as you do doingtje entire thing.

This is a difficult, quiet steep and humid path path even in the dry season. Hardly any sun gets through the thick Canapé on the way to the summit. You are rewarded with an intact ecosystems and beautiful views from the top. The way back is nearly double as long but less difficult and leads through transitional forest with some exceptional open mountain views.

se torna difícil si ha llovido, por lo resbaladizo y empinado. hay que tener cuidado con los cruces que no estan señalizados.
