Apart from the Tours through the Bacuit archipelago, which must be done, we opted to walk linking various beaches and ending up watching the sunset on Las Cabañas beach.
From El Nido we take the main road (vertebrate axis) full of shops on both sides until we turn right and reach Corong Corong Beach. From this point on, everything will be beach, sand and rocks.
Located just a few steps from the town of El Nido, this beach is a little less touristy and less crowded. At one end of the beach you will find some local houses built on high wooden stilts. This is a great opportunity to witness the daily life of the locals.
BEWARE...bathing is currently prohibited on this beach as well as in El Nido (water contaminated by feces).
A long walk along the shore and under the shade of the palm trees leaves us in an area of rocks that, with a little skill, we will pass and find the Vanilla/Maremegmeg beach
Now we can enjoy the paradisiacal beach with its very crystalline waters.
In the first part we will not find shadow but further forward, yes.
We will find a centenary tree that is precisely called Maremegmeg.
Continuing along the beach we will reach the famous point of the best Sunsets in El Nido....Las Cabanas.
Its location is absolutely privileged.
In addition to the sunset, we have the impressive view of Pinagbuyutan Island, the giant rock in the distance. It's pretty much every local's favorite island, and even from a distance, it's a spectacular thing to see.
In this case we lengthened the walk a little longer, passing in front of the tree cabin (for rent) and arriving at Dolarog beach.
Once the sunset spectacle is over, we return to Vanilla Beach, cross the entire shopping center until we reach the road and take a tricycle to El Nido.

Maremegmeg Beach
El Nido has no shortage of amazing beaches, but Maremegmeg Beach is one of the best beaches in El Nido thanks to its proximity to the city and its beautiful sunset views. Vanilla Beach is a relatively new addition to this stretch of coastline and is named after the shopping complex built at the entrance to the beach. There's no line in the sand to distinguish between Vanilla Beach and Maremegmeg Beach, but no matter where you choose to place your towel, you'll be guaranteed a little piece of paradise.

Está muy bien y las playas y el paisaje es muy bonito. Recomendable realizar la ruta con zapato adecuado al trekking ya que hay zonas de rocas.
