Itinerary description
This easy trail from the cafe bar and souvenir shop at El Portillo by the Centro de Visitantes de El Portillo to the Barranquillo de la Punta Del Risco and back provides spectacular views of the Teide National Park and beyond to La Palma on the horizon. The paths are easy to follow and there is nature information available at the visitors centre. Parking is available at the cafe bar and visitors centre. For the more adventurous there is a good path leading to Degollada Del Cedro and Riscos de la Fortaleza (2164m) (not part of this route)
