Itinerary description

Very nice loop walk along the coast of Cabo de Gata. The first part up to Los Escullos has rolling green hills. After that the part along the cost is rather spectacular. San José has supermarkets and cafe bars. After San José you can walk the remainder of the trail to El Pozo. The first part is a private road to a cottage. However the trail to El Pozo is nothing special. In San José there is a bus at 20:00 to El Pozo, which might be the better option.

This trail is easy to moderate, but nearing San José there is a tricky spot not suited for people with fear of heights. You certainly need good shoes because of the boulders and rocks here and there. I would not try this with sneakers.
