Itinerary description
Parking is near to a helicopter landing site.
We started walking from 14.00 in the afternoon and finished at around 17.30 in Winter time.
Most of the trial is between the trees so it is quite shaded, apart from the section where you are walking alone the top of the mountain crest.
From the beginning, after approx. 20 minutes walk you reached a side small path on the left which lead you to a staircase of a small mirador looking down the old quarry(not sure if it is an old quarry). This path is quite steep at some point so need to be extra careful. (I personally think that for children from 6 yr old is not that difficult to climb this section but they need extra guide to walk along if they have not done too much hiking before amd very importantto have good hiking shoes to prevent slipping from loose small rocks path.)
Leaving the mirador, the path lead you into the woods and there are different entries along the way that you can choose on your left to go up to the top of the mountain crest, keep in your mind the direction of the sea and walk towards that direction because the path is no so clear so if you do not have your GPS with you, it might be quite disorientated once you are inside the woods, it was hard for us to find it.
Once you walk pass the wood upwards you can see a beautiful view of the coastline alone Fuegirola.
Walk alone the top on the mountain crest around 10 to 15 minutes later you will fine your first elf and then a while later another one.
After you encountered all the elves you are starting to gently decenting down back into the woods and fine the unpaved road to follow downhill back to the starting point.
