Itinerary description
Walk around Bergara in the Spanish Basque country. From Bergara we take the car to Elosu which is a 15 minute drive up the mountain, where we leave the car at Ermita de Santuxu. From here the walk goes around the hills with spectacular views over the area around Bergara. We visited two mountain tops, Kurutzebakarra (One cross) and Irukurutzeta (Three crosses). From Irukurutzeta one can see the sea and neighboring town of Azkoitia. On the way back we visited the well of Pol Pol, a local mountain club.
