Itinerary description

Cerro del Pavillar, Elviria Hills

This is a linear walk starting by an area of off road parking, on the Avenida de España, above Elviria and close to La Mairena.

There are some ups and downs on the route, passing through Loma de la Granadilla and Loma del Lentisco, eventually making your way to the summit of Cerro del Pavillar.

There are some good views including coastal views. This walk is also suitable for dogs.

I have followed this trail  View more

It's a lovely trail with wonderful views, thank you!

My only criticism of the description is that is doesn't mention that the exit off the main road to the parking spot is very steep and there is no clear view of where you are going as you drive up, which is a bit unnerving. But the short, steep road levels off onto a concrete platform with room for two cars to park (and turn) without blocking access to the nearby house.

The first half of the trail is easy but the later part of the trail has some steeper sections where I recommend the use of poles.
