Afrika so nah als wär man da! Auf der A7 fährt man von Malaga kommend ganz an Algeciras vorbei. Am letzten Kreisel von Algeciras biegt man links ab in Richtung Getares und am nächsten Kreisel rechts ab auf die schmale Teerstraße nach Punta Carnero. Am Ortseingang von Punta Carnero biegt man nach links in den Ort ein und sobald wie möglich wieder links. Am Ende der Straße parkt man am Meer auf einem Parkplatz vor einem Gebäude mit der Aufschrift Faro de Punta Carnero. Man geht zum Ortseingang zurück und nach links die steile Teerstraße bergauf. Neben einem Haus mit der Aufschrift 'Saarbrücken' biegt man rechts ab und geht steil bergauf. Oben geht man nicht rechts weiter sondern scharf links hinter einer Hecke auf einem Schotterweg. Sobald rechts die Villa Apolinaris erscheint, geht man gegenüber der Villa links durch ein Viehgatter auf einem Schotterweg,der langsam deutlicher wir und in einer großen Linkskurve um ein Tal herum führt, das sich zur Straße von Gibraltar öffnet. Das afrikanische Ufer ist zum Greifen nahe. Auf der anderen Talseite geht man knapp unterhalb eines Betongebäudes geradeaus bergab durch Ginster. Unterwegs muss man durch zwei Schlammlöcher. Am Ende des Ginsters geht man am rechten Rand einer große Wiese entlang zum Meer. Dort hält man sich links auf einem Erdpfad, der 30 m über dem Ufer parallel zur Küste durch Ginster verläuft. Man geht an zwei Ruinen vorbei und betritt durch ein Gatter wieder Punta Carnero. Dort geht man rechts auf einem Schotterweg direkt an der Küste bis zum Parkplatz.

Africa as close as if you were there! Coming from Málaga, drive on A7 direction Algeciras/Tarifa and pass almost all of Algeciras. At the last roundabout of Algeciras turn left towards Getares and at the next roundabout turn right onto the narrow asphalt road to Punta Carnero. On the left enjoy views on the rock of Gibraltar and the harbor of Algeciras. At the entrance to Punta Carnero turn left into the village and as soon as possible again turn left downhill. At the end of the road park your car nearby the sea at a parking lot in front of a building signed 'Faro de Punta Carnero'. Go back to the entrance of the village and follow the steep paved road uphill to the left. Aside a house with the inscription 'Saarbrücken' turn right and go uphill. On top don’t follow the road to the right but behind a hedge sharply turn left onto a small dirt road. Pass a cattle gate. In front of ‘Villa Apolinaris’ on the right, turn left through a cattle gate onto a meadow. Walk on the dirt road, which in the beginning is not well visible. The road takes a big left turn around a valley, which opens onto the Strait of Gibraltar. The African shore is within reach. On the other side of the valley below a concrete building follow the path aside a fence downhill through gorse. Along the way you pass two deep mud holes. At the end of the gorse persue on the right side of a large meadow towards the sea. 30 meters above the shore turn left onto a ground path, and follow it in parallel to the coast through gorse towards Punta Carnero. Pass two ruins on the right and enter Punta Carnero through a cattle gate. Behind the gate turn right on a dirt road just off the coast to the parking lot.

África tan cerca como si es tu vieras allí! Viniendo desde Málaga, en la A7 dirección Algeciras / Tarifa y pasar casi todo de Algeciras. En la última rotonda de Algeciras gire a la izquierda hacia 'Getares' y en la siguiente rotonda gire a la derecha por la pequena carretera asfaltada a Punta Carnero. A la izquierda, disfrutar de las vistas sobre la roca de Gibraltar y el puerto de Algeciras. A la entrada de Punta Carnero gire a la izquierda hacia el pueblo y tan pronto como sea posible de nuevo girar a la izquierda hacia abajo. Al final de la carretera parque su coche cerca del mar en una plaza de estacionamiento en frente de un edificio firmado 'Faro de Punta Carnero'. Volver a la entrada del pueblo y seguir la carretera asfaltada empinada cuesta arriba a la izquierda. Aparte de una casa significado 'Saarbrücken' gire a la derecha y subir. Además no siguen el camino de la derecha, pero detrás de un seto bruscamente a la izquierda en un pequeño camino de tierra. Pasar una puerta de ganado. En frente de 'Villa Apolinaris' a la derecha, gire a la izquierda a través de una puerta de ganado en un prado. Caminar por el camino de tierra, que en un principio no es bien visible. El camino da un giro a la izquierda en torno a un gran valle que se abre hacia el Estrecho de Gibraltar. La orilla africana está al alcance. En el otro lado del valle por debajo de un edificio de hormigón seguir el camino a un lado de una valla bajando a través de tejos. En el camino se pasa dos agujeros de barro profundo. Al final de la persue tojo en el lado derecho de una gran pradera hacia el mar. 30 metros sobre el giro a la izquierda en la orilla de un camino de tierra, y seguirla en paralelo a la costa a través de aulaga hacia Punta Carnero. Pasar dos ruinas en la derecha y entrar en Punta Carnero a través de una puerta de ganado. Detrás de la puerta a su vez a la derecha en un camino de tierra cerca de la costa hasta la playa de estacionamiento.
