Itinerary description
This is a lovely loop walk out of Aldeida da Serra. After an initial stretch along the main road it's all gravel roads and dirt tracks. Initial stop is at the Anta da Candeeira, a megalithic dolmen featuring a polygonal chamber. The walk then passes a stow lake, the Church do Monte da Virgem, and later on follows the side of the hills - where you will see a fair amount of clear-cutting - yet also encounter nice vistas. Via an oak forest, you wind down again and beautiful rolling landscapes will take you back to Aldeia da Serra.
