Itinerary description
A delightful walk near Ergos, park at Restaurante Fleytas on the TF-82 road. Courteous to ask permission first and do call in after your walk - lovely place with delicious selection of cakes.
Leaving the car park crossing over the road and downhill to the Erjos pools.
Joining the TF-51 a steep climb reaches the road leading to Pico de Gala ( hill with masts).
Turn right and follow road up a steep hill until a gated area is reached on the right.
This is where you turn right just after the gate and head into the forest.
The track now follows through Laurel woods with great views looking west down to Buenavista del Norte.
Eventually the track reaches back to the ridge overlooking Erjos with a lovely long ridge walk ahead with many wild flowers. At the end of the ridge a path leads down to a vehicle track and through a car park.
The route now heads back up the Erjos valley passing a farm to reach the Erjos pools again and a return to Restaurante Fleytas.
