Itinerary description
parking area just acreoss the road from a small beach..the trail starts just off the main road , so you must walk 100 mts on road to find start point, over the road barrier and trail is a little steep to start and loose stones under foot ..lots of course bushes etc..marked with wayponts .
At the top tyou reach a car track that leads around the back of the rise..
Small turning area for car ..thru the large gates ..or around as was closed when we arived,but ok for walking.
Small collection of old buildings and the church of
Ermita de Castro..good view accross the lac Rio Esera..we returned following the car track to La Puebla de castro..along the way picking almonds of the trees ..!!
head towards the lac and the road joins tarck again and decends towards houses ,,pass down and you reach the road on the lac..return to start point
