Jolie boucle sur les hauteurs de Laida. Un conseil : Faire la boucle lorsque que la marée est basse, les paysages depuis la basilique de San Pedro de Atxarre seront magnifiques avec les méandres de la baie.

Le tracé passe à travers la réserve de biosphère de Urdaibai, entre forêt, plaines et batiment religieux. Une belle faune (sanglier et biches) et une belle flore sont présente tout le long du sentier !

Le départ s'effectue au village de Gametzo. Prendre la route qui monte, en direction d'Akorda. Juste après avoir traversé le village, quittez la route pour prendre un sentier montant (à gauche de la route). En haut, à l'intersection, prendre à gauche et marchez sur la route jusqu'aux indications. Suivre la trace du sentier, en faisant attention à ne pas oublier de tourner à droite pour prendre un chemin parallèle à la route. Rejoignez ensuite le chemin principal pour monter à la basilique de San Pedro de Atxarre.

Pause bien méritée, les paysages sont magnifiques ! Redescendre ensuite sur le village de Gametzo en prenant le sentier derrière la basilique.

Nice loop on the heights of Laida. A tip: Make the loop when the tide is low, the landscapes from the Basilica of San Pedro de Atxarre will be magnificent with the meanders of the bay.

The route passes through the Urdaibai biosphere reserve, between forest, plains and religious buildings. Beautiful fauna (wild boar and deer) and beautiful flora are present all along the trail!

The departure is from the village of Gametzo. Take the road that goes up, towards Akorda. Just after crossing the village, leave the road to take an uphill path (to the left of the road). At the top, at the intersection, take a left and walk on the road until the signs. Follow the trail of the path, being careful not to forget to turn right to take a path parallel to the road. Then join the main path to climb to the Basilica of San Pedro de Atxarre.

A well-deserved break, the landscapes are magnificent! Then descend to the village of Gametzo by taking the path behind the basilica.
