Jolie boucle sur les hauteurs du mont Oiz (1026m). Sommet emblematique du Pays Basque. La vue du sommet offre un panorama magnifique à 360 degrès. Ce point étant le plus haut des environs, la vue porte jusqu'à l'embouchure de Urdaibai, jusqu'à Bilbao et sur les hauteurs du parc naturel de Urkiola.

Le sommet est facilement accessible, la majorité du sentier s'effectue sur des petites routes, et l'ascension ne represente pas de difficultés (à part le dénivelé).

Au sommet il est possible de croiser des moutons, vaches et chevaux sous les éoliennes offrant des photos magnifiques !

Le départ s'effectue au village de Minitibar, des parkings sont présents, priviligier celui sous l'église. Montez vers le hameau de Ganbe et prenez le sentiez indiqué sous le GR36. Une fois sur la route vous pouvez y rester jusqu'au sommet. Pour la redescente, la première partie s'effectue dans les champs, sur les sentiers des vaches. Une fois que vous êtes sur la route vous pouvez redescendre jusqu'à la voiture sans problème !

Nice loop on the heights of Mount Oiz (1026m). Emblematic summit of the Basque Country. The view from the top offers a magnificent 360 degree panorama. This point being the highest in the area, the view extends to the mouth of Urdaibai, to Bilbao and to the heights of the Urkiola natural park.

The summit is easily accessible, the majority of the trail is done on small roads, and the ascent does not represent any difficulties (apart from the difference in altitude).

At the top it is possible to cross sheep, cows and horses under the wind turbines offering magnificent photos!

The departure is from the village of Minitibar, parking lots are present, privilege the one under the church. Go up to the hamlet of Ganbe and take the path indicated under the GR36. Once on the road you can stay there until the top. For the descent, the first part takes place in the fields, on the paths of the cows. Once you are on the road you can get back down to the car with no problem!
